Tate Reeves signed the medical marijuana law in February after it was passed by the legislature. Cities and counties in Mississippi have until the first week of May to decide if they want to opt-out of allowing medical marijuana businesses.The Mississippi State Department of Health has set a June 1 deadline for rules and regulations, and there are another 30 days for license approvals.
